Torn ligaments, months of rehab, and the frustration of watching progress stall are just a few of the challenges I’ve faced since tearing my MCL while playing soccer. That injury forced me to start from zero and rebuild not just strength but patience, discipline, and perspective. It showed me how fragile momentum can be and how powerful consistency truly is.
I have also made mistakes as a coach, from programming errors to overcomplicating progressions or misjudging recovery needs. Every miss-step taught me something valuable. I have learned to analyze, adapt, and apply, treating every failure as data rather than defeat. What I pride myself on most is never repeating the same mistake twice.
My name is Kaden Tran, founder of JTS Training and a competitive powerlifter. My purpose as a coach is to help people build a stronger body and an even stronger mindset. Every rep, every phase, and every setback has a reason behind it, and my job is to make sure you understand why. Strength is not just physical; it is built through clarity, accountability, and resilience, both in the gym and in life.
